About US
Hi my name is Hollie,
I am a Waihi Beach local.
I grew up here and studied in Auckland, completing my Masters in Australia.
I have worked in NZ and Australia in rural farming/mining communities; in private clinics, sporting fields and hospitals. Helping people recover from joint surgeries, workplace injuries (back, neck, slip trips and falls). Helping active kids recover from sports injuries, Mum's recover from birth and much more..
I am passionate about women's and men's bladder and bowel health. I have also spent time working in oncology rehab and lymphoedema.
I'm a Mum, Orchardist and Physio.
I love being outdoors in the garden or walking in the bush.

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education to promote, maintain, and restore physical function and mobility. It aims to alleviate pain, improve strength and flexibility, and enhance overall quality of life.
Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of conditions and injuries, such as musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. It offers personalized treatment plans that may include exercises, manual therapy, electrical modalities, and education to address your specific needs and goals.
If you are experiencing pain, limited mobility, or functional limitations due to an injury, chronic condition, or surgery, physiotherapy can be beneficial. Additionally, if you want to improve your overall physical fitness, prevent injuries, or enhance your athletic performance, physiotherapy can provide guidance and specialized programs to help you reach your goals.
During your initial assessment, the physiotherapist will evaluate your condition, ask about your medical history, and discuss your goals. They may perform various tests and measurements to assess your strength, range of motion, posture, and functional abilities. Based on this assessment, a personalized treatment plan will be developed. Subsequent sessions may involve a combination of hands-on techniques, exercises, and education to help you recover and improve.
The duration of a physiotherapy session can vary depending on the nature and severity of your condition. Typically, sessions can last between 30 to 60 minutes. The number of sessions required will depend on your specific needs, goals, and response to treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss the estimated duration of your treatment plan during your initial assessment and review your progress regularly to make any necessary adjustments.
